Valentine’s Gifts for Guys

Alright all you gals out there, Valentine’s Day is almost here and now is the time to get shopping for the one you love! I love any excuse to shop and holidays are just such an excuse. Men can be a bit hard to shop for but I have put together a collection of some items that would be perfect for your sweetheart.

Lets get started:

Cologne is a perennial favorite, re-stock on of his faves or try something new like Banana Republic’s Cordovan Cologne, a seductive blend of ebony spices and vintage leather. He will smell delicious! available at www.bananarepublic.com.

These Burberry boxers are just too cute to pass up, available at www.nordstrom.com.

Most women hope and/or expect jewelry for Valentine’s Day but since most men don’t wear jewelry you can not return the favor, but a nice watch always makes a great gift. Nordstrom has a great selection in a variety of price ranges, I particularly like this Swiss Army watch with the orange face and rubber strap, it is hip and sporty, available at www.nordstrom.com.

More men are getting into grooming products and therefore more companies are focusing on men’s products giving consumers a wide range to choose from. Billy Jealousy is my husband’s new favorite brand, he particularly loves the Hydroplane Shave Cream and it was named by Esquire Magazine as it’s 2007 Best Shaving Cream. Not to mention if you buy him a bottle you can use it too, it is great to use when shaving your legs! available at www.billyjealousy.com.

If your sweetie is a coffee lover then I suggest getting him some Peet’s Coffee. They hand roast all of their coffee in small batches and deliver it fresh within 24 hours of roasting it. It is for the true coffee connoisseur and will warm his heart. available at www.peets.com.

If your honey happens to be a car guy get him one of these great books to rev up his engine (cheesy I know). Ultimate Garages and Ultimate Garages II showcase some drool worthy garages and car collections and The Cobra in the Barn: Great Stories of Automotive Archaeology is full of true tales of rare cars pulled out of haystacks and junkyards and then fully restored with great before and after photos. All books available at www.barnesandnoble.com.
