Arctic cold temperatures are plaguing most of the country this week and with high temperatures in the single digits forecast for my hometown all I can think about is bundling up! Lucky for me (or perfect timing with the January chill) I just received a Patagonia catalog in the mail. Patagonia is in the business of keeping people warm, dry and cozy in harsh conditions. They apply super smart technology coupled with extensive testing in arctic conditions to create perfect outwear. You can check out their full line for men and women on their website at www.patagonia.com.
Here are few of my faves:
Women’s Nano Puff Pullover: I am ordering this today to wear as an under layer when I am in the barn working my horse on cold days. It is water and wind proof and efficiently traps and hold in heat while being extremely lightweight.
Women’s Fiona Parka: Don’t let cheap imitations fool you, there is no better puffy coat on the market than this one. It has no-compromise, cold fighting insulation of 800 fill power goose down and is wind and water proof while being extremely light weight and easy to wear. It also has princess seaming in the back and front so it gives this puffy shape a feminine fit. It will keep you warmer than a fur coat without the cruelty of wearing fur.

I love the Patagonia jacket!!! They last forever too.
Don’t forget to keep those feet warm in the snow. Check out the great selection of Hunter wellington boots available at http://www.marsh-mellow.co.uk
Feet never need to be cold inside a pair of wellies again, get a fantastic pair of fleece inner socks in a wide range of great colours to keep those tootsies toasty 🙂
